Cherri L. McGrew, President of HealthCare Management Consulting
Cherri L. McGrew has been in the healthcare field for over 30 years and is the President of HealthCare
Management Consulting. She has a wealth of experience at the policy level in non-profit volunteer
healthcare organizations, the National Institutes of Health, academic centers, health systems, and
physicians’ practices. Ms. McGrew is managing the development of information technology strategies
and direction for the Clinical Research Forum IT Roundtable. Working with the CEO and the Roundtable
chairs, she is developing a 3-year plan for IT initiatives. Ms. McGrew is also currently managing a
strategic initiative for Health Level 7 to develop a strategic plan and implementation tactics to
change HL7’s standards development process and the infrastructure to support streamlined processes.
She has supported the National Dialogue on Cancer, now C-Change: Collaborating to Conquer Cancer, for
the past five years and was integral to the development of policies and procedures as this organization
moved from a small organization to a 501c3. She managed the headquarters of the Southwest Oncology Group,
a large cancer clinical trials organization and managed multi-million dollar contracts for public and
private sector clients.
